Joseph (Joel) Blitch is admitted in the state and federal courts of Florida, and is a 24+ year labor and employment law attorney who, in addition to superb and well-tested litigation skills, specializes in assisting employers in avoiding litigation through proven strategies aimed at preventing employment-related claims through supervisory training and development, the provision of day-to-day advice in response to internal complaints, and the preparation of employer procedures and policies aimed at level-setting employee expectation and improving employee morale and productivity. He is also well adept at proving mock audits of employer records in preparation for governmental audit regarding employment and transportation law issues. Joel has represented employers and employees in the full gamut of labor and employment-related claims, with emphasis on FLSA claims, FMLA claims, whistleblower claims and claims of discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. He is admitted in the state courts of Florida, all the federal district courts of Florida, as well as Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
